Richmond Lectures: Stuart Milk @ The Anson Room | England | United Kingdom
This Richmond Lecture is being held as part of LGBT+ History Month.

Stuart Milk joins us on 22 February to deliver his talk “Global LGBT+ Rights and the Power of Your Story.”

Stuart is an international human rights activist and youth advocate. He is the co-founder and Executive Chair of the Harvey Milk Foundation.

As the nephew of the iconic civil rights leader Harvey Milk, Stuart has taken his uncle’s message of courage and authenticity to the global stage. As a passionate advocate of civil rights Stuart has supported local, regional and national human rights in over sixty nations on six continents.

The Richmond Lectures are the University’s flagship public lecture series. Now in their third year, they aim to promote cross-disciplinary discussion by hosting leading thinkers and speakers.

The Richmond Lectures are made unique by the fact that speakers are nominated and invited solely by students.

The series takes place each year at the Richmond Building, home of the Students’ Union, and are free to attend for students, staff, and the public.
