It is the Barberfellas’ second concert in London, and for 2018 we’re doubling down on the barbershop and a capella harmonies we love. It’s a new show with new songs and we can’t wait to share it with you!
As always we’ll also be bringing together our LGBT choir friends from across the UK. At this concert we have not one, not two, but THREE choirs joining us on stage. Our guests are Rainbow Singers Across Borders, the choir made up of LGBT asylum seekers based in Croydon, Manchester’s singing sensation: Laura and the Lesbians, and, in their public debut, the ground-breaking London Trans Choir!
At this concert, a portion of the proceeds will go to Rainbows Across Borders, a self-help group for LGBT asylum seekers, as well as the Kaleidoscope Trust which works to uphold the human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people internationally. You can find out more about these amazing charities here: http://rainbowsacrossborders.org.uk/
With thanks to Amnesty International LGBTI network and Human Rights Action Centre.
