Explore traditional and creative Jewish texts and ideas through the experience of being LGBT. From “thou shalt not lie” to new prayers and Torah commentaries, these texts will stimulate a discussion on the challenges – and the creative contributions – arising from Jewish people grappling with sexuality. Participants can ask questions from the presenter about growing up, living and working in the Jewish community as a queer man, and may wish to develop their very own Torah Queery.
