Great Russell St
This year’s LGBTQ film day is inspired by objects and themes from the Room 69a display Desire, love, identity: exploring LGBTQ histories and the accompanying trail around the Museum. With a range of films narrating the stories of LGBTQ people from the Pacific to the Arctic, this event explores LGBTQ experiences on a global scale. The event will take place in the Stevenson Lecture theatre at the British Museum on Saturday the 14th of October. Curated in collaboration with Camden LGBT Forum the event is free and open to the public, each film is ticketed separately and it is essential to book on the Museum’s website. For more information and to book for any of the three film screenings search for the BM events calendar http://www.britishmuseum.org/whats_on/events_calendar.aspx . If you scroll down to the 14th of October you should be able to find the 3 screenings listed there and book your selected one.
