A very special milestone for the London Song Festival, as towering blonde glamour-puss, composer – lyricist and ex Vegas nightclub chanteuse Miss Hope Springs brings you songs from her unreleased 1969 LP.
She reflects “There are so many circles, spirals and revolutions on the journey of life. I was personally entertaining Fidel Castro when the Cuban one broke out in 1953 and the windmills of my mind have been on spin-cycle ever since. It feels like I have been going round in circles for years…and strangely not getting any further than the camper van in Dungeness that I share with my husband Irving and his hairdresser pal Carlos.”
More will be revealed in Hope’s London Song Festival debut as she plays the piano and sings numbers from her self-penned award-winning, witty, toe-tapping showstoppers and smouldering torch songs.
” I will take you down the convoluted route that is my own personal Memory Lane and trust me…It’s not always a pretty sight.”
As a special favour for the London Song Festival, Miss Hope Springs will join the audience over tea and cakes after the concert.
