Turnabout: The Story of Policing of Gay/Bisexual Men in England and Wales 1950-2010 @ Petersfield Library | England | United Kingdom

Historian and former serving member of the Hampshire Constabulary, Dr Clifford Williams charts the complete turnabout in official police approaches to gay and bisexual men, as well as developments by LGBT officers and staff within the service.

Based on a number of sources, including memoirs and testimonies of police who worked on Vice Squad and police officers who identified/identify as gay or bisexual, his presentation provides a fascinating insight into this part of LGBT history in Hampshire.
