Join us for our first event for LGBT History Month 2017 to discuss Breakfast on Pluto by Patrick McCabe.

This novel tells the story of the trans woman Pussy Braden who escapes Ireland in search of her biological mother. Bad luck surrounds her until she moves to London, becomes a prostitute and is later arrested on suspicion of an IRA bombing, only to be released a few days later. She later embarks on a search to find her mother.

Please do come along even if you haven’t had a chance to read the book.

Please note: we will also be holding a screening of the film adaptation of the novel on Thursday 9th February.
