Join us for a talk by Professor of Sociology at Manchester, Brian Heaphy, on the theme of ‘Sexual Citizenship’. Learn about the idea of sexual citizenship, with reference to civil partnerships and same-sex marriage, and about patterns of informal exclusion from citizenship in everyday life.

This talk will help to elaborate on this year’s theme for LGBT History Month of PSHE (Personal Social and Health Education), Citizenship and the Law.

This event will be introduced by Director of HR, Karen Heaton.
