Nottingham’s Rainbow Heritage has a range of materials and and archive of materials at your disposal. The relentless organisers and campaigners, who have pulled out all he stops to make Nottingham the leading LGBT History Month events organiser since 2005 – offer the following:

With LGBT History Month rapidly approaching, there might be several groups/organisations in a hurry to do something who might welcome the chance to do their own thing by using a pick and mix from our resources. We have, for example, put the following on our website for people to download:

 

 

 

 

  • Potted biographies of LGBT BME people –  (18 posters)

 

 

  • Famous LGBT BME people - 16 posters, 4 people/poster

 

 

  • Nottingham CHE (The Campaign for Homosexual Equality). 16 posters.

 

 

  • Nottingham lesbian and gay venues past and present – (18 posters)

 

 

  • Nottingham in the News. Two 4-page booklets detailing comments from local and national newspapers about major events of lesbian and gay significance in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.produced for 2009 LGBT History Month.

 

 

  • Famous Trans people (33 posters)

 

 

  • Famous LGBT sports people (48 posters)

 

 

  • Gay Nottingham Times – LGBT Nottinghamshire themes explored –  (12 posters).

 

 

  • Worldwide memorials to the gay Holocaust – (8 posters) + 17 page information file.

 

 

  • Notts LGBT people and the press:  “Gay swimming … AIDS fear”, “The build up to the 1967 Act” “Councillors and Equal Opportunities” “La Chic opens” – 11 posters.
