Rainbow Pilgrims ‘Young People’s programme’ presents:
Identity in Motion – A Workshop facilitated by Vijay Patel
Learn how to create a quick and easy stop motion animation using cut-outs, photographs and more!
What makes you who you are? What people, experiences and places have shaped you? We will discuss these themes and give you the opportunity to create an animated story. You’ll have the chance to discover various stop motion animation techniques. There will be lots of visual materials to hand for creating your own story board and capturing your animation stills. Using the ‘Stop-Motion Movie Creator” smartphone app you’ll be able to create and publish your own short film.
Please note: it is advisable for participants to have their own smartphone to work with, or attend with someone who is able to share their device.
This workshop has a limited number of places, and is aimed at young people aged 14-25 – QTPoC; LGBTQI+ BAME & other minority backgrounds including faith, migrant, refugee/asylum seeker or LGBTQI+ GRT (Gypsy Roma Traveller) communities;
