As part of LGBT History Month and in partnership with Enfys and Pride Cymru, we are delighted to welcome Ruth Hunt, Chief Executive of Stonewall, to share with us her career to date followed by a Q&A session.
Ruth was appointed Chief Executive of Stonewall in August 2014, having worked in senior positions in the organisation since 2011. She has successfully led the development of the Stonewall’s groundbreaking policy, campaigns and research outputs, including its work to tackle homophobic bullying in schools, effective interventions to improve the health of lesbian, gay and bisexual people and Stonewall’s acclaimed leadership development programmes.In 2015, Ruth was voted the third most influential LGBT person in Britain in the Independent’s Rainbow List. She received two honorary degrees in 2015, one from Cardiff University and the other from Keele University.
Ruth’s talk will start promptly at 6pm with refreshments/time for networking in the foyer from 5.30pm. The building closes at 8pm so all attendees need to please vacate before then.
